I am very proud to be the Headteacher of our highly inclusive school.
At Whitefield Primary Academy our tagline is ‘Respecting others and being the best we can be’ and we do this through our values-based education. As a values-based school our children are empowered to love learning and our school community is happy and harmonious and an engaging place where children feel secure.
Our school has rapidly improving standards and our curriculum reflects this. Reading is at the heart of our curriculum and we have carefully selected books in the curriculum to broaden pupil’s thoughts and ideas of different cultures and periods of time and enrich their learning. We provide children with real-life experiences for writing through our Forest Schools programme and our WOW experiences and trips.
We are firmly committed to safeguarding all our children and provide support and nurture for our children with our dedicated Family and Nurture Teams, who support children and their families.
At Whitefield, we are proud to have achieved the Gold School Games Award and the Platinum School Health and Well-being Award. We have always been able to offer a comprehensive after-school activities programme and we hope to do so again in the future.
We have a growing Breakfast and After School Care Club, to support our working parents with accessible and reasonable child-care.
We are very proud of our wonderful school and we would love to welcome you here at Whitefield Primary Academy.
