Reception - Trip to The Church of the Holy Cross

Huge thanks to Father Brown for making us so welcome at the Church of the Holy Cross. The children enjoyed finding out about where Christian people in our community go to worship. They counted the crosses and candles in church, listened to the very loud organ and the church bell ringing and got to smell the incense that is used during a service. They found out a bit about how Easter will be celebrated at the church. Thanks also to all our parent helpers who made our walk to the church possible.
