Nursery - Spring Term Highlights
Thursday 26th March 2026
What a busy half term in our school based nursery!
We have been learning about the topic of transport and the children have enjoyed many books, songs, rhymes and poems related to the topic and have learnt so much! The half term kicked off with a dress for mess fun day to introduce the topic.
The nursery children also loved celebrating World Book Day this half term and worked with their families to complete their ‘first ever book review’ and they enjoyed sharing their favourite books with each other.
We also love learning about the seasons in nursery and we have learnt about Spring and the children have loved seeing the bulbs they planted in the autumn growing.

Children were invited to come in wearing an Easter/Spring themed bonnet that they had helped to make at home. They were fantastic and the children enjoyed an Easter bonnet parade! They also had fun dressing up and taking part in egg and spoon races!
We are looking forward to rounding off the half term with our special Eid celebration day.
