• Tuesday 11 November 2025 Remembrance Service 2025 Today we gathered outside for our annual Remembrance Service. It was a truly poignant occasion, held in front of our beautiful poppy garden, which provided a respectful backdrop for reflection.
• Tuesday 4 November 2025 Year 6 - Visit to The Legend of the Titanic, London Year 6 went on an Immersive day out to the Legend of the Titanic Immersive Experience in London to introduce their new topic 'Iceberg Ahead!' and find out all about how the unsinkable ship sank in 1912. They had an amazing adventure learning about how the ship was built, the people on board, and experienced it for themselves through the use of VR and Metaverse headsets. What an incredible experience! #enjoyment #understanding #empathy
• Friday 24 October 2025 Nursery - 'Spooky' Fantastic Finish! Nursery had a great ‘spooky fun day' as their fantastic finish to their busy half-term! There were lots of fun, spooky themed activities for the children to explore on the day. The highlight of the day for the children was making potions in a cauldron with Mrs Hunt, they all helped to add and stir the ingredients. The children also made their own bubbling cauldron pictures with Mr Bowman.
• Monday 6 October 2025 Harvest Assembly We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity shown by our school community during this year's Harvest Festival collection. Thanks to your kind donations, we were able to gather a fantastic array of food items to support those in need.

• Thursday 25 September 2025 Year 5 & Year 6 - Multi-Faith Assembly Today our Year 5 and Year 6 children took part in a wonderful multi-faith assembly performed by Khayaal Theatre. The children explored stories from Christian, Sikh and Muslim traditions, highlighting the importance of integrity - recognising when we've made a mistake and finding the courage to turn it into something good.

• Thursday 26 June 2025 KS2 Sports Day 2025 Following on from our previous sports days, on Thursday, our KS2 athletes took centre stage! The children showed determination, teamwork and sheer enjoyment while taking part in various activities and races. Well done to the families who bravely participated in tug of war!!

• Monday 23 June 2025 Sports Day - Nursery Our nursery children had a fantastic time at their sports fun day. Big thanks to Mr Gillard for all his help in setting up and running all the activities and also to our year 5 sports ambassadors who helped us on the day with enthusiasm. The children all had a great time exploring various sports and demonstrated many of Whitefield's values while participating. Thanks to all the parents and carers who came and cheered their children on.
• Wednesday 21 May 2025 Nursery Fantastic Finish - Minibeast Topic As the fantastic finish for their minibeast topic nursery held their annual ‘Ugly Bug Ball’. So much effort went into the amazing costumes that the children came to nursery in. The nursery parents provided lots of food for everyone to make minibeast themed snacks with the children which they really enjoyed making and eating. There were also lots of fun activities for the children to explore, as well as some singing and dancing.

• Tuesday 4 March 2025 Shrove Tuesday - Nursery Nursery had great fun on Shrove Tuesday making and tasting pancakes. They listened well to instructions, talked about the ingredients and recipe, followed the safety rules and took turns nicely. Well done nursery!!

• Tuesday 11 February 2025 SID - Too Good to Be True? Protecting Yourself and Others from Scams Online This year, we were excited to join the global celebration of Safer Internet Day with the theme Too Good to Be True? Protecting Yourself and Others from Scams Online.
• Monday 3 February 2025 Year 2 WOW - Visit from the Fire Service Last week Bond class enjoyed a WOW visit from the fire service. The children learned about the important role of the fire service and what to do in an emergency. They watched an exhilarating race between one of our children and Colin the fireman to see who could get ready fastest in an emergency! The children then explored the fire engine and its equipment and got to use a real hose! The children were great and good fun was had by all! Thank you for visiting us Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
• Thursday 30 January 2025 NSPCC Visit Today we welcomed the NSPCC to our school to talk to our children about the 'Speak out Stay safe' safeguarding programme. The children took part in interactive and engaging sessions about their well-being and staying safe. We would like to say a big thank you to the NSPCC for visiting us!
• Wednesday 29 January 2025 Nursery - Chinese New Year Nursery had an exciting time learning all about the Chinese New Year, discovering how it is celebrated and found out that this year is the Year of the Snake.
• Thursday 16 January 2025 Nursery - WOW Under the Sea At the start of the half term Nursery had their wow day to introduce their topic ‘Under the sea’. The children were asked to dress for mess and staff prepared lots of fun sensory activities for the children to enjoy and help them to get enthused and interested in their new topic.

• Wednesday 11 December 2024 Breakfast with Santa We had a wonderful time at our Breakfast with Santa mornings! A huge thank you to all the parents and children who were able to join us. We hope you enjoyed the festive fun, delicious breakfast, and of course, meeting Santa!
• Friday 15 November 2024 Google 'Be Internet Legends' Assembly Our key stage two children had a fantastic assembly from Google 'Be Internet Legends'. The children tackled several challenges related to internet safety and each solved challenge revealed a letter in a mystery word. Our incredible children managed to reveal the word without a single error! They are truly 'Internet Legends' and we are very proud of them.
• Monday 11 November 2024 Remembrance 2024 Today we held a special outdoor Remembrance assembly to show respect and remember those who have fought and died in wars worldwide.
• Wednesday 6 November 2024 Whipsnade Visit - Year 2 Year 2 had an amazing time at Whipsnade Zoo! They saw lots of animals and participated in a fantastic workshop. A huge thank you to Marcus for teaching the children all about habitats and animal adaptations. They had a wonderful learning experience! #enjoyment #quality
